Ryan Thomas, PT, DPT

Ryan Thomas, PT, DPT, is a skilled physical therapist at Dallas Orthopedic and Shoulder Institute in Sunnyvale and Kaufman, Texas. 

Born and raised in Mesquite, Texas, the team graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a bachelor’s in Kinesiology. In 2018, he obtained his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of North Texas, Health Science Center. 

After his formal education, the team practiced at Baylor Scott & White outpatient rehabilitation, gaining a wide range of experience before coming to Dallas Orthopedic and Shoulder Institute. He now treats patients with various orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. He enjoys using manual techniques and progressive exercises to improve his patient’s function and quality of life. A strong believer in collaborative recovery, patients can expect to take an active part in their treatment and rehabilitation. 

When he is not working, the team (or Ryan) enjoys relaxing with his family and friends, especially his German Shepherd, Kaizer. He is very active in his church and frequently exercises to make up for his love of Thanksgiving foods!
